Back home an two Lefties

I was in Holland last week, it was so good to see my family again but it was also very  tiring. And as always it feels so good to be back home again in France!

Some weeks ago I made two Lefties, i already made one last year. I love the pattern, it's a mindless knitting with great result.
I made this one with silk yarn in a nice brown color, when finished Thom took it immediately.......

The other one is knitted with Zeeman Royal, color number 67. I made it for the market at the end of this year (yes I know i am a bit early!!!!). I think the scarf is too small but i could not find the color number anymore at Zeeman .  Maybe my one of my Dutch readers would take a look at Zeeman for this color blue, number 67 (lot 3714)? 

For me the scarf is perfect but I am short so I think for the market the scarf needs at least another 30 cm.

Crochet in color 3 and what happened last night

I made these flowers two years ago. The yarn was a kit for a crocheted scarf from Natural Dye Studio. At the end I did not like the scarf and started making flowers. I really don't remember which pattern I used.
When the flowers were finished I  did not know what to do with the flowers, they were lying there for two years......

I made a cushion with them for the market, don't know if i like it......

And what happened this night? The wood wall behind the barn with 10 cube of wood fall down.
And i can tell you that is a lot of wood!!! This never happened before and fortunately it happened at night.......

To end this post positive I 'll show you some pictures of the white prunus in full bloom. It is a beautiful variety grown from a small cutting that a friend gave me about 8 years ago!

Yesterday was my birthday

We went with some friends to a restaurant for a birthday dinner. They were already waiting for us......

One of my friends had made a cushion with a photo transfer, very original!

Two cute dolls

When I saw acute doll on Jane's blog I also ordered the pattern.  You can buy the pattern and a kit here. I made two , they are for the market in May.

The last one is made with Dutch traditional fabric. I am making a large quilt with this kind of fabric at the moment, i use a lot of blues and some red. I will show you the quilt soon.
