Giveaway present
Some weeks agoI told you about the giveaway on Cara's blog, The Quilt Nook. And I am the winner of the fat eight bundle Maison de Garance from French General. The package arrived this week.
Imagine there are 38 fat eights in the bundle! And the fabric is so lovely, the design is really exclusive and the colors (especially the reds) are beautiful.
Here are some pictures:
I already have two projects in mind with this fabric.
I love the way you have them display on your clothesline. I am envious, not of your fabric,(although it is wonderful fabric) but of your clothesline. Did you know that a lot of neighborhoods in the United States do not allow clotheslines? I grew up with them and love the fresh smell of my laundry. People here say they make the neighborhoods look bad with clothes hanging all over the yard. What a shame!
Love those reds - what a gorgeous display. I read Healing Woman's comment above - how weird that sounds to us here in Europe. I can't think washing lines are untidy in back gardens!
