I was there at 8h in the morning, it was already a very active, animated market. Everywhere you heard chickens, geese, ducks and so on. In the centre of the square people were selling vegetables from their 'potager'. Some only sold eggs or 2 or 3 hens, ready to prepare .....
And of course there ware some French farmers eating their breakfast, cheese, meat, baguette and of course there were 2 bottles of wine.
Next to another truck there were also man eating and drinking, they even were roasting their meat.
When I wanted to make a picture they invited me to come and eat and drink with them..... This is the real life in France!
I LOVE FRANCE! It's never too early for red wine.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenRight now I'd love a glass of wine.

Thanks for the tour. I wish I was there!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenWhat a lovely way to spend a day, at the farmers market chatting with all the farmers!! :-) When I travel, I like to blend in to the population as much as possible, do what the locals do, eat what the locals eat, go where the locals go. So it is good to see "the real France" , as you say, not just what tourists see.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenWhat an interesting market, I love chickens, ducks, geese, etc. Nice to feel a part of the community and not just an outsider looking in.
