Meilland roses
My friend Lucienne , who is also member os our garden club, bought some beautiful Meilland roses.
Here is the gorgeous 'le petit prince'. The color is a subtile mauve, very extraordinary for a rose, the scent a fresh light citron.
You could buy Meilland roses all over the world.....
Wat een mooie rozen. Nou ik heb ze in Nederland nog niet gezien hoor. Ze zullen er best wel zijn maar dan bij een goede rozen kweker. Deze zijn in ieder geval prachtig en de geur lijkt mij echt een bijzondere ervaring. En als antwoord op je vraag over het uitstapje met mijn zus. Ja, dat is Inge die je ook bij Dorry hebt gezien. Thanks for sharing the beautiful rose. One of my sisters adores purple so that rose is on my list to locate for her to add to her garden. I adore all my roses, but none every look as good as yours. Thanks for sharing. trisha
So pretty! I have two climbing roses that look like this, though not to sure if it is the same type or not? (they came with the house when I bought it).

Oh what a beautiful rose and such an unusual colour - my grandmother's favourite colour mauve - she would have loved it.
