Today I visited a pumpkin market, all sorts of pumpkins in all sizes.

Le Mechouii

This afternoon in my village they organized  Le Mechouii, in english that means Spit roast. There were 2 sheep roasting the whole morning. 

Vegetable garden

A friend phoned me that she wanted to give me vegetables from her potager (vegetable garden). Look what she gave me.....

New bags

It's quite a long time ago that I showed you new bags. There were some unfished bags waiting for the new sewing machine. About three weeks ago I made my decision : I bought the machine that I showed you before., the Bernina aurora 440 QE.

But from the beginning I was not satisfied at all. the stitch was not straight and regular. I was very disappointed. The dealer tried to solve the problem but did not succeed.  So last monday the machine was sent to the factory. With the replacement they gave me I could at last finish some bags.

Arboretum 3

In the arboretum I saw fruits that I never saw before. Very small chestnuts, fruits like lemon and hazelnuts that look like a hedgehog.

Arboretum 2

Weather was beautiful yesterday, a real indian summer-day. Just a perfect day to walk in the arboretum. There was a collection of oaks and acers, and, of course, a lot of other trees.
I made some photo's of trunks, so extraordinary.  Please don't ask me the names of these trees.....
