Weather was beautiful, a really blue sky an good temperature to walk! Because in Parid you WALK......
In the morning I went to the North-African market in rue Dejean (18th arr), I was a bit disappointed , expected more stalls. In a shop you could buy this dry herb grass to make tea, I forgot the name...
There were a lot of shops with very colorful african fabric for making clothes, a bit too stiff to quilt I think.
Then I walked to the mercerie in Place St Pierre to buy some thread to quilt my Union Station quilt.
For an excellent lunch I went to my favorite veggie restaurant...in the rue Bichat
Then it was time to go to the exposition in The Mona Bismarck center .
This was the spectacular view standing in front of the building.
After the exposition I went to the same terrace as last time to drink a glass of wine....There were no blankets anymore but the heaters were still on. There I met a very nice couple from the US. We talked about life... and drank our wine together.
Next time pictures of the antique quilts!
Leuk dat je mensen ontmoet en samen van gedachten kunt wisselen.
