More garden pictures

I am so busy working in my garden , there is not much time to craft. After the market I always am tired , then I got the flu and i was in Paris for one day to meet her.

I am re arranging  my garden, last year the garden has been abandoned a bit by me . So this year i cut a lot of plants and make more path.  I lay cardboard on the new path with black plastic  on it. For the moment it's quite ugly but after a year or so the the soil will be clean . It's quite a job that I started but I hope that this year i will have a well kept garden, with a lot of black plastic but clean.....

I still have my fathers flowers.....

A bit of this and a bit of that

I started this week to finish some UFO's. The house doll quilt was still waiting to be finished, I quilted the borders and here it is....

I made some more pictures of the  beautiful silk scarf that i made for Bette. I surely will make more scarfs, I ordered silk in blue, earth colors, blue/green and yellow/green.

And some gardenpictures. Two pillars with a lot of  clematisflowers...

The old French rose Ferdinand Pichard (1921)  is so gorgeous this year....

A silk scarf and some garden pictures

When I was in Holland I had an appointment with Bette, my sister in law. She loved the present I made for her. I bought a scrap bag with vintage kimono silk, the color was lavender/grey/light purple. Just Bette's colors.

A bit of this and a bit of that

Yesterday i came home from my trip in Holland. In Paris I was a bit in a hurry so not enough time to buy books at Junku's. But I bought this book with recipes from Clea. She has a very interesting blog with healthy cooking recipes: low fat, little sugar, vegetarian....

I also bought this cute little notebook.

In the seventies and eighties there was a very popular craftmagazine in France. It was called "100 IDEES". There is a blog where the fans of this magazine exchange lost numbers or try to complete their collection. I also used this site and I found someone who wanted to sell her collection. I received about 110 numbers !!!!  Not the complete collection, but I am still searching...... 

Someone gave us a  young chicken, she is so very cute...

Quinces, des coings

This night weather changed, lots of rain, wind.  So more apples were falling and also many quinces, and what to do with all those quinces. I was at my neighbor’s this afternoon , she told me about an ‘eau de coing’ . When she was a child her mother gave her this liqueur when they had a stomach ache, it was delicious. She’ll search for me the recipe.

Today I  made this girly little-girl bag, it will be for sale in my shop. 

   

Pélargonium & Géranium

I had a swap with someone on the site of Pélargonium & Geranium. She sent me this pelargonium sidoides with beautiful small, purple flowers.
